I’m often asked how to make content go viral, and when I answer, people realize that there are so many variables–sometimes luck has a lot to do with it. But just like anything, there is a foundation or framework that one can work with, off of, or from.
I was browsing around Youtube, researching different CRM systems, and I came across a great video by Salesforce.com on how to make your content go viral. The video goes beyond content, and explains how the framework applies to your products, too. The video makes a lot of sense, particularly the point on optimizing each variable. I sometimes refer to these variables as “gaps” and normally talk about “gaps” a lot when discussing the strategy behind sales and marketing funnels.
Check the video out! It will give you a more structured way of thinking about viral marketing and how you can get your content and products to spread naturally across the Internet. For all of us Internet business entrepreneurs, it’s vital to get both our content and product out in the open.
